The San Francisco Department of Public Works has announced a request for bids on the $5.3M Osaka Way Upgrades Project. Bids are due by 2:30 pm on Wed, Jan 28, 2026.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10 am on Thurs, Jan 15 via Microsoft Teams. Here is a link to the announcement.
About the Project
Japantown’s Buchanan Mall is the pedestrian portion of Buchanan Street that runs for one block between Post and Sutter streets. Along with Peace Plaza, it’s the geographic and cultural heart of the neighborhood.
